Ever wonder how visual effects are made? Ready to take your project to the next level? Curious about After Effects and experimenting with new tools? TEENS are welcome to join Atlanta Film Society and re:imagine/ATL in our final CURRENTS film networking event of the year on Tues. Dec. 4 from 6-8pm.
Address: 193 Elizabeth St NE, Atlanta, GA 30307 (Georgia Media Workshop, house in Inman Park)
Instructor: Elli Belle Dean is going to teach the workshop. She is a long-time instructor at the Art Institute, a wonderful teacher, and a fun-loving person! The workshop will be hands on with a quick green screen phone shoot, and demo how to key and composite the footage in After Effects.
The visual effects workshop is hosted at Georgia Media Workshop (GMW). GMW's goal is to connect and equip creative people with the latest technologies they need to unleash their greatest potential and best work. To that end, we do not teach from a book. Instead, you come to us with a goal or project in mind, and we provide the structure and training that allow you to learn while working on it. We offer a wide variety of training courses in computer generated effects – 2D, 3D and virtual – as well as audio and video editing, and graphic design. In other words, all the cool stuff. So come learn, create, and build up your toolbox.
